The Lions Band is the Calvary Chapel Christian School's Band program and includes all the bands that are a part of that program.

A FAREWELL MESSAGE:
It has truly been my life’s dream to do what I’ve gotten to as a band director here at Calvary. I could not have asked for a more talented, more intelligent, more fun group of students to work with. I intended to impact the students here for the Lord, but was impacted myself by those same students. Though, I am very excited to see what the Lord intends to do with my family and the church in Portsmouth NH, I will GREATLY miss my beloved band students! It is my profound desire that each of the band students will continue to grow in their musical talents, and more importantly, in the relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The last advise I’d like to give Lions Band students: Stay focused on eternity, and you won’t stray from the path.

When I was a young lad, my parents put me in piano, I liked performing and dreamed of performing on stage in front of any people. Whether in Piano, Flugelhorn, or French Horn, I enjoyed playing music. In the future, I hope to become financially viable so I can play music in my free time.

“Music is quite captivating, especially if allow it to embrace you and fill you with a wonder and awe of music and develop a talent to play an instrument and become a musician. This such event happened to me, and I do not regret becoming a musician. My father played the Alto Saxophone, and as I listened, I aspired to become as good as him. My continuous journey to become a steadfast musician began in the 3rd grade up to the 6th grade. During this span of my beginning years, to be honest, did not learn much about the specific fundamentals of music, but still pressed. I also was given the chance to talk and listen to Dave Koz, and excellent saxophonist and musician who gave me more inspiration in my journey. I stopped playing for a few years, then joined Calvary Chapel Christian School’s band, and with the help of Mr. Eulberg, Mr. Summers, and the band, I was able to pick up more fundamentals of music and continue to aspire to become a great musician.”
